Eat Like A New Yorker! Pass

Your Eat Like A New Yorker! Pass makes you part of a private club or membership, so you agree not to publicly share the names of participating restaurants and vendors. These names are known only to pass holders, and we don’t want our partners to be overwhelmed. You receive bonuses at partner eateries and bonuses and/or savings at non-restaurants.

Our pass is a “quality designed by New Yorkers” Dining Pass and is set up to match you with local eateries that want to serve you but do not have the budget to advertise and reach you. We are bringing you together! Bonuses offered are just that—they are designed to add value for you as a pass holder but are not the primary purpose of the pass.*

Our pass supports mostly local businesses & charities. One pass is good for your entire party, whether you are 1, 3, or 10 people. Restaurants and vendors will only accept one pass per group. Restaurants vary by cost, cuisine, and style.

Pass Activation & Usage

• Passes start at first registered usage and are good for 24-hour periods.

• A 7-day pass activated on Monday at noon will expire the following Monday at noon.

• Your digital pass comes to you by text and e-mail—just save it to your phone. No apps needed.

How It Works

• Purchase a pass good for up to 7, 14, or 30 days. Purchase in advance up to 60 days before first use for your itinerary planning (see below).
• Your pass purchase is for the expertise, information, and technology provided. Once you order the pass, it is strictly non-refundable, as you can use the information at that point.
• Receive a mappable list of pre-vetted, pre-screened restaurants selected by locals, helping you see real New York neighborhoods and eat where locals do—all while probably saving money too!
• Each listing includes everything you need as a visitor:

• Nearby attractions & transit

• Restaurant type & price range

• Tipping information

• And much more!

• Restaurants offer you one to three bonuses based on total check spend for the table. Non-restaurants offer discounts or gifts on purchases. Each listing details the bonuses and discounts offered. This can potentially add up to hundreds of dollars in retail value if you use the pass regularly on your trip.
• Food is not free with your pass.
• There are no menu restrictions or check splitting.
• Show your pass when you arrive at each restaurant. Allow the restaurant to register your visit on your pass when you check out to pay your bill. This ensures you receive your bonus(es) without charge.
• If you do not register your visit, you must pay for your bonuses.
• When your visit is registered, you’ll receive two points good toward free offers around the New York area. Click “Rewards” on the pass to see current offers.

Pass Expiration & Important Notes

The pass is designed to pay you back in goods, food, and services. Use the pass on your trip, and the pass may pay for itself.*

• Your pass may be purchased up to 60 days in advance for itinerary planning.

• All passes expire after 60 days if not activated with first use.

• Passes are non-refundable as noted above. Please activate your pass within 60 days of purchase.

Please note: New Yorkers are known for being both forward and blunt. We tell it like it is! So we need to remind you that we cannot be at every restaurant at all times, which is why bonuses and discounts cannot be guaranteed by us.*

• If a participating restaurant or vendor does not honor their promise, please let us know.

• We may not be able to fix the issue before you leave New York, but your feedback helps us remove unreliable locations.

• Your pass purchase is strictly based on receiving the information and technology.
